What is Helpi?

Helpi is an online platform that connects you with trusted local service providers—known as Heroes—for help with tasks like plumbing, cleaning, electrical work, massages, and more.

How does the booking process work?

You select the service you need, choose any available options, and pay online. Helpi then finds a Hero nearby to take the job. Once confirmed, you'll receive the Hero's contact details.

Who performs the service?

Independent professionals (Heroes) perform the services. They are not employees of Helpi but are vetted and approved to work through our platform.

Can I choose my Hero?

Currently, Heroes are assigned based on location, availability, and service match. You'll receive their info as soon as they accept your job.

Is my payment secure?

Yes. Payments are handled through secure third-party processors. Your payment is held until the service is completed.

What if I have a problem with a service?

Please contact support@helpi.group within 48 hours of service completion and we'll help support the resolution of your complaint.

Can I cancel my booking?

Yes, you can cancel a booking in the app before a Hero accepts. If a Hero has already accepted, cancellation fees may apply depending on timing.

Are Heroes background-checked?

Yes. We conduct identity verification, qualification checks where possible and may conduct background checks depending on the service category.

Do I need to be home?

Yes, someone aged 18+ must be present for the appointment unless previously arranged with the Hero.

What happens if the Hero is late or doesn't show?

Contact us immediately. If the Hero doesn't arrive, we'll help reassign your job or issue a refund.

Is the price shown when booking the final price?

The final price may change depending on if the job you ask the Hero to do is different to the one you purchased – so if the Hero stays longer than you originally booked or the job is significantly different. The Hero should explain any additional charges to you before they start or finish.

What happens if I want a refund?

As you are ordering a service it is hard to give a refund, however, should you not be happy with the service you received you should discuss this with the Hero directly before they finish and take plenty of pictures. Helpi will always try and help mitigate any disputes between the customer and the Hero.
