Frequently asked questions about Furniture Cleaning in Manchester

How much does furniture cleaning cost in Manchester?

An armchair starts from £55 and a 3-seat sofa from £85. Mattress shampooing starts at £35 for a single. Carpet cleaning for a living room starts at £95. All prices are fixed before you book — no minimum order surprises.

How quickly can I get a furniture cleaner in Manchester?

Most bookings across Greater Manchester confirm within 15 minutes, and same-week availability is standard. End-of-tenancy cleans can often be booked within a couple of days.

What happens if I’m not happy with the furniture cleaning?

We’ll work with you and your hero to put it right. You don’t pay until you confirm the job is done to your satisfaction

Is there a minimum order?

Yes, the minimum order is £80. Most customers combine a couple of items — a sofa and an armchair, or a mattress and a carpet — which easily meets the minimum.

Do you offer insurance on the Hero’s work?

Helpi does not offer insurance as we act as a marketplace matching customers with tradespeople and as such do not cover the end service by the tradesperson. The customer should check this with the tradesperson directly when matched and have the opportunity to re-publish their work.

Is the price shown when booking the final price?

The final price may change depending on if the job you ask the Hero to do is different to the one you purchased – so if the Hero stays longer than you originally booked or the job is significantly different. The Hero should explain any additional charges to you before they start or finish. You need to approve the price increase.

Are Heroes background-checked?

Yes. We conduct identity verification, qualification checks where possible and may conduct background checks depending on the service category.

Can I cancel my booking?

Yes, you can cancel a booking in the app before a Hero accepts. If a Hero has already accepted, cancellation fees may apply depending on timing.

Is my payment secure?

Yes. Payments are handled through secure third-party processors. Your payment is held until the service is completed.
